The Role
Capella Professional are proud to be working with a well-established, intimate and family run commercial insurance broker in Nottingham. They are seeking a driven and motivated administrative professional who is keen to level up their career and enhance their existing skillset. Although previous insurance/ brokering experience would be fantastic, it’s not essential with our client being open minded. Of course, full training will be provided but a positive mindset, proactive approach to work and being able to work off your own initiative is a must. If you consider yourself a exceptional office administrator then we want to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities
- General office duties such as shredding, filing and answering the phone
- Dealing with client and insurer queries, generally by phone or email
- Being responsible for our personal lines portfolio in respect of new business, renewals and ongoing queries.
- Handling small commercial business.
- Assist in the updating of claims settlement details with a view to handling your own claims
Ongoing Progression
You will be given the opportunity to sit the FIT exam, with the option to advance further if desired – the Award for the Foundation Insurance Test (FIT) is an introductory-level qualification that helps you develop an understanding of how the insurance market operates. It covers fundamental risk and insurance principles and procedures, and core personal and commercial insurance products.
Working Hours
Full Time / Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
