Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 7am-1pm
Salary: Starting pay £12.21ph
Our client in Alfreton, requires Glass Polishing Operatives to join their team. They are the leader in the manufacture of precision glass pressings and high quality optical components.
Duties:
- Closely analysing glass components used for cosmetic and optical applications
- Trimming glass products using tools fixed to your workstation
- Measuring profiles and using technical machinery to magnify and inspect components
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure cosmetic-grade quality standards are met
- Working as part of a team to achieve KPIs, communicating any quality or production issues
- Using computer systems to input data and accurately read figures from screens
