Accounts Assistant

Up to £30,000 DOE | Permanent | Derby

About The Role

Capella Professional have partnered up with an established tax and accountancy practice In Derby to find them an experienced accounts assistant.

Specific Responsibilities

· Accounts for limited companies and partnership and sole traders.

· Corporation Tax Returns

· Management Accounts

· VAT returns

· Payroll duties

About you

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

· A proactive and analytical approach

· Prior experience working in accounts or as an assistant accountant or a fully experienced accountant (salary negotiable dependant on experience)

· AAT level 2 or 3 qualified (preferred)

· Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Workday, or PeopleSoft.

· A well- developed sense of client services.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

· Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

· Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal

Working hours

09:00-17:00pm Monday- Friday
