A word from Senior Management…

Sky Recruitment Solutions saw an exciting month as we entered the second quarter of the year in April. Following changes in National Minimum Wage at the start of the month, we liaised with clients to amend current arrangements in line with this change and offer support.

We continued to win new contracts, with some of our office locations hitting record-breaking figures! We also celebrated an incredible new partnership and our staff continued to excel as we marked multiple promotions, probation passes, and anniversary celebrations. Our monthly charity event was also a success and we began a partnership with a local country cricket club, as we continue to support local businesses. Now we are looking forward to May, where our focus is preparing for the busy quarter ahead as we enter the peak recruitment period.

Fulfilment Exclusive!

Sky Recruitment Solutions partnered with a growing Mansfield fulfilment company, creating jobs for local communities…

Sky Recruitment Solutions and We Are Fulfillment, a Mansfield-based shipping and fulfilment company have joined forces in an exclusive partnership, creating jobs for the local area. After opening its doors last year, We Are Fulfilment has grown exponentially and has entrusted us to exclusively supply their Picking & Packing Operatives, as well as Forklift Truck Drivers.

Double Promotion Delight!

Our Ripley branch continues to shine as they celebrate not one, but two promotions…

We love celebrating our team’s success here at Sky Recruitment Solutions, and we have not one but two promotions to shout about this month! Congratulations to Shannon Glennan, who has been promoted to Recruitment Consultant, and Tarlai Trevena, who has been promoted to Trainee Recruitment Consultant. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to providing further opportunities for our teams to continue to develop in the future.

SRS goes to the cricket…

We are delighted to have joined Derby County Cricket Club’s 1870 Business Club in April. We are excited about the opportunities to meet like-minded professionals and connect with local businesses that will come with this membership. We also unveiled our first-ever pitchside banner at the Incora cricket ground in Derby as part of this!

Charity tournament pots the big bucks to the NSPCC!

We are not just about work at Sky Recruitment Solutions; we love to give back too! That is why one of our Regional Business Managers, Craig Cheetham, organised a charity pool tournament at Amber’s Pool & Sports Bar in Ripley. Thank you to everyone who attended and the local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes. We were able to raise a whopping £148 for the NSPCC.

Team SRS scores a goal!

We love to support our team members with their hobbies and interests outside of work. So we are thrilled that the football team managed by Michael Treharne, business manager for our Ripley branch, has made it to the semi-finals of their cup. We have everything crossed that they bring it home in May!

Happy Birthdays, Congratulations, and Probation Passes…

Let’s finish off with even more good news! We’d like to wish a happy birthday to Tarlai, Shannon, Harmony, and Hannah! Plus, congratulations to Aimee on celebrating her 2nd anniversary with the business. And finally, a big shoutout to Amie, who successfully completed her probationary period!
