At Sky Recruitment Solutions, we are looking for candidates who are looking to start a new career within food manufacturing to join our well-established Potato Crisp manufacturer client in Bradford, BD8 with immediate start available.

The main focus of your role will be to assist the team leader in the department and ensure smooth running of the area on a daily basis:

• You will continuously monitor raw materials
• Assist in the production of the product
• All operational processes
• The overall production environment to ensure that all activity comply with food safety manufacturing standards.

Full training will be given specific to the role. This means that despite the specific production experience you do have, our client is particularly looking for somebody who is:

• Open

• Reliable.
• Has a willingness to stay and learn with the company as the role is Permanent.

We currently have 2 roles we are recruiting for:

1. Machine Minder

• FMCG and Food Production Experience required
• Understanding or previous use of weight machines (TNA), ISHIDA machines and BluePrint Machines.
• Use of Machines preferred.
• Day Shifts 6AM-6PM. Must be available to work 3 or 4 days per week (36 or 48 hours) including Mondays and Fridays. £9.51 per hour. Breaks paid. Pay Increases with training sign off. 12 weeks temp to perm.
• Night shift 6PM-6AM. Must be available to work 3 or 4 days per week (36 or 48 hours) including Mondays and Fridays. £9.51 per hour. Breaks paid. Pay Increases with training sign off. 12 weeks temp to perm. After 12 weeks Night Shift premium is paid at an additional £1.30 per hour after 10pm and £25 bonus for Friday nights

2. Preparation Inspection Break Cover

• Monday – Friday 8am-2pm £9.51 per hour.
• Working with raw materials on the inspection line
• Progression plan to be trained on other areas in the department and train to run and monitor machines can be put in place if you wish to develop a career with the company

Overtime is available!

Please note that you must wear hygiene and safety related workwear which will be provided by the company. This includes a hair net, face net (if appropriate), earplugs and an overall.

Safety boots must also be always worn onsite.
