As an Electrical Recycling Operative you will be responsible for assisting with the correct recycling of electrical materials. Day to day tasks will differ depending on which department you are working in.

Duties will include;

· Preparation of material for the automated robotics process.

· Organising output components by material.

· Monitoring the separation processing line.

· Dismantling electrical products.

· Ensuring your working area is kept tidy.

· Providing stock assistance.

· Maintaining a safe working environment.

You will be joining a growing company dedicated to reducing electrical waste and that will provide you with the potential to develop your career within this industry.

About You

You must be a team player and be open to undertake a variety of tasks within the role. Have a good eye for detail, are well organised and be self-motivated. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar environment having used hand tools/ power tools before, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be required to lift larger electrical appliances such as televisions onto your workbench and so this has to be within your physical capabilities.

You will be invited for an unpaid 2hr assessment at the company to see if this job is the right fit for you. Being an ongoing role, we want to make sure you and the job are the perfect couple! If successful, you will be expected to start work in the days following dependent on the work schedule chosen.

After 12 weeks of work you will have the opportunity to go permanent with the company if you have shown you are a good worker and will be offered a a pay increase to £19000 on AM shift and £19000 plus 5% shift allowance on PM shift.

A monthly rota is given the shifts are available as below:

Hours of work from October onwards:

PM: 2pm till 10.30pm, any 5 over 7 days.
